And a point at the top (do the same thing with a point facing up)

Book: A Wild Weather Day by Judith Stamper.

Song/Finger Play: 5 Little Kites
One little kite in the sky so blue,
Along came another, then there were two.
Two little kites flying high above me;
Along came another, then there were three.
Three little kites, just watch them soar,
Along came another, then there were four.
Four little kites, so high and alive
Along came another, then there were five.
Five little kites dancing across the sky,
What a sight to see, way up so high!

Wind Experiments
The kids had fun talking about wind and what it is and conducting experiments to see how they can use wind they create to move things around.  They used a straw, a paper towel roll, just blowing with their mouth and waving their hands.  They also had contests to see who could move something the fastest!
