**Thanks again to the moms that helped (and all those who wanted to, but were unable!). I appreciated the extra set of helping hands!!
Welcome: Blocks
LBQ/Graph: What is your favorite dinosaur? We graphed this question and their choices were: Tyrannosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, and Stegosaurus. The T-Rex was the favorite in the a.m. class and the Triceratops was the favorite in the p.m..
Pledge/Weather/Calendar
Song: Parade of Colors (This is the fun song the kids dance too while practicing their colors and following directions.)
Book: We re-read Dinosaur Starts School by Pamela Dunkan Edwards. We tried to remember what happened in the story and we talked about the difference between real and pretend.
Activity: We made a brachiosaurus. The children had to follow directions to make a great looking dinosaur.
Snack
Review numbers: Each child had a pile of 10 rocks. First we lined them up and the children practiced pointing to each rock while we counted to 10. Then we counted out 1, 2, and 3.
Review ABC chart: The children took turns pointing to letters and naming their sound. Then we introduced the letter Gg. We learned the ASL sign, sang our song, traced the letter Gg and colored our coloring page. We also added glue and glitter to the letter Gg!

The letter Gg. The letter Gg. (Make ASL sign for letter, showing one hand, then the other.)
Has a sound. Has a sound. (Bring one hand to ear, then the other hand to the other ear.)
