LBQ: Do you have a favorite story? It is always fun to hear about a child's favorite story and how excited they are about it.

Pledge/ Weather/ Calendar

Song: "The Grand Ol' Duke of York." This is another song on CD. The kids had fun marching, and moving up and down with the words in the song.

Book: The Three Bears by Mable Watts. This edition was A Little Golden Book by Walt Disney. These little golden books bring back so many memories from my own childhood and they have such beautiful illustrations. Some of the kids said they had never heard this story and they just loved it. They all sat so quiet and listened so intently!

Activity: Whose Is This? This actvity went right along with our Three Bears story. It helped remind us who was in the story, and how who had the different objects. There was a column for Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear. There were pictures underneath that had a large, medium, and small items( bowl, bed, and chair). We talked about who got each of the sizes and who they belonged to. We cut, matched, and glued them under the right character.

Hh- Letter Craft: We traced our letter Hh with our fingers. We then decorated our letters with HAPPY face stickers!!
