Book: Dinosaur Starts School by Deborah Allwright. A cute book about a little boy and his dinosaur who is scared to go to school. The little boy shows him all the fun things you can do at school. He also helps the dinosaur make new friends and try new things. By the end of the day the dinosaur loves school and can't wait to come back!
Activity: We cut and put our dinosaur books in order. We then pointed out on each page the number, words, and picture. We also talked about the title page and the last page of our book. We identify parts of a book and discuss who and what an author and illustrator are.
