In the desert, in the hot sun,

Grows a cactus big and tall.

It is green and it is spiny,

It's the best one of them all!

Book- Way Out West Lives a Coyote Named Frank by Jillian Lund. This is a fun book about a coyote named Frank. He lives out in the west and loves to have fun with his friends and explore the desert.

Activity- We finished our green, spiny cactus pictures by adding beautiful red flowers and a sun in our sky.

Next we colored our animal scene and talked about how different animals are out during the day and night in the desert.
