Welcome: Play dough!
LBQ/Graph: What is your favorite way to exercise?
Pledge/Weather/Calendar
Song and Instruments: We reviewed our hand washing song and played our musical instruments! This is always a favorite. We also played red light green light with the instruments. The kids played when my back was facing them and stopped when I turned around.
Book: Dr. Maisy by Lucy Cousins. This book talks about two friends pretending to be a doctor and nurse. They take care of their teddy bear and help each other!
Activity: We did a review worksheet "Taking Care of Our Bodies." We talked more about what is good for our bodies including taking care of our teeth. The kids had to listen carefully to know what they needed to do and they did a great job!
Experiment: Wash your hands! We used glitter to show the kids how easily our germs are spread. While we can't really see our germs they can still travel easily! Then we washed our hands to show that's the only way to get completely rid of those yucky germs!
Snack!
Review: We completed our purple and brown books.
Introduce Pp: We had time to talk about the letter and sing the song, but we saved the rest to finish Thursday.
