Welcome- Color Rr picture
LBQ- What kinds of things can you find in the desert?
Some things we saw were cactus, scorpions,snakes, dirt, trees, coyote, and rabbits!

Book- Cactus Hotel by Brenda Z. Guiberson. A great book that shows what a wonderful desert we live in with the great saguaro cactus's. This book shows the life span of these great tree-sized cactus and who benefits from them.
Activity- Today we are starting a 3 day desert sunset project. We will start painting our sunset and desert landscape today. Over the next few classes we will add things to our desert picture as we discuss the many wonders of the desert!
