All About Me!!!!

I apologize the pages are out of order, I started to post my pictures before Laura had posted the first day of school. Also this page is spread out and the pictures are far apart because it would not allow the spacing to change without possibly deleting the pictures.

Welcome- Color Aa page
LBQ- Am-What is your favorite thing to do with your family?

Pm- What is your favorite movie?

Pledge/ Weather/ Calendar

Song-

Stand Up and Turn Around

(child's name) stand up; (child's name) stand up.

Turn around; touch the ground.

Reach up really high now; jump to touch the sky , wow!

Now sit down, now sit down.

Book- Llama llama Misses Mama by Anna Dewdney. A cute sory about a little llama who misses his mama when he goes to school. But he soon learns that school is fun and he likes his teacher and makes new friends! The best thing is that he learns is that although he misses his mom, he can still have fun at school, and she will come back for him.

Introduce Fundamentals-

Color-

Pink and Blue- I Spy...this game involves all the kids going around the room spying the color/s we are learning about for the month.
Shape- Circle

The Rolling Circle Song(original author unknown) Sung to: "Have you ever Seen a Lassie"?
Have you ever seen a circle, a circle, a circle?

Have you ever seen a circle, which goes 'round and 'round?

It rolls this way and that way, And that way and this way.

Have you ever seen a circle, which goes 'round and 'round?

Pattern- AB...we show a pattern with colored rocks and then each child will create their own with the rocks. We also may incorporate that same pattern on our calendar number cards. During the month we will practice our pattern with a variety of manipulatives.

Action Game- The number or numbers for this month, are cut out of construction paper, hole punched and made into a necklace. Each child will get a turn wearing this necklace and being in charge of what action we will do for the number. We spin 2x's or touch our toes, clap, march...anything they come up with.

Sing and sign the letter Aa and Aa picture cards...looking at different things that start with Aa.

Aa Letter Craft-

Each month we will have the letters we are learning drawn on cardstock paper. We will then glue, draw, stick, paint, something on the letters that begin with that letter. For the letter Aa we used apple stickers.
