Book- That's What a Friend Is by P.K. Hallinan. A story that reminds us what a real friend can be in your life. A friend is someone who always listens.  Someone to laugh with, cry with, play with or even watch cartoons with!

We talked about being a good friend at home. When we help our family and take care of our house, we are learning responsibility and good character! This will help us to be a better friend to all we meet. All of the kids picked one chore that they want to help with for the next few weeks. Please help them accomplish this and put a sticker on a square each time they complete it. Send it back in the folder when it is filled up, and we will recognize their efforts in class!

Activity- Finish coloring, cutting, and gluing our family collages on paper. This was so fun to learn about your families. We are not sure if they are all accurate in the number of pets, or siblings. So if you have an additional cat, dog, bird, or child, just know it is because of the love your child has for your family!
