Today we used our instruments while we were singing. We do this once a month and it gets noisy, but boy do we have so much fun! Maybe we have some future musicians in our midst!

Book- We reread That's What A Friend Is by P.K. Hallinan

Activity- Teacher manners worksheet. We have been talking about being a good friend and using our manners with everyone. We discussed how we treat our teacher and how we treat each other at school. We went over nice words like, please, thank you, your welcome, and excuse me.

Snack

Fundamentals-

ABC's in our tiniest mouse voice!

Reviewed Aa, Bb, Cc sign and song for each letter. We also reviewed the picture cards and placed them under the correct letter. Each child will draw a card and then tell me what it is, and what letter and sound it starts with.

Count 1-20 using number poster. We focused on the number and word for 1 and 2. We then played Is it 1? Is it 2? on the white board. This month will be different than the others because we learned two numbers. The upcoming months will be a little different.

Color March Song- Each child is given a colored square on a stick. We march in a circle listening for our color. We may be asked to sit down or stand up and then march around in a circle again. A great activity to recognize colors and follow directions!
