October 25th
Welcome: Is it 4? We started our day by finishing our "counting to four" worksheet from the week before.
LBQ & Graph: What is your favorite Halloween treat? We had pictures of candy corn, chocolate, cookies, and caramel apples up on the board The children each took a turn coming up and placing their person next to their choice, then we talked about which treat we like the most and how many children liked each treat.
Pledge/Weather/Calendar
Song: We recited our "5 Little Pumpkins" Poem again
Book: Skeleton Hiccups by Margery Cuyler. This is a funny story about a skeleton who is trying everything to get rid of the hiccups!
Activity: We finish our fun Pumpkin Shaker instruments. The kids loved making all that noise!!
Snack
Color Book: The kids completed their orange and black color book.
Ii: Sign/Song/Coloring Page/WS and Letter Craft!! Whew! We tried to get it all in today so we could concentrate on our Halloween party on Thursday. :) We ended up sending home the Letter Craft (the letter Ii with Ice cream cones on it) to finish at home.
